Gabrielle Parris, Law Fellow

Gabrielle Parris, Law Fellow Gabrielle Parris graduated from UC Hastings in 2017, where she focused on immigration law. During law school, Gabrielle participated in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and the Immigrant’s Rights Clinic. She worked at the Alameda County Public Defender as an immigration law clerk and spent three months in Ecuador with Asylum Access. Gabrielle also worked with human trafficking survivors at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, volunteered at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant and worked at two private immigration law firms. Gabrielle also served as the symposium editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review, and president and delegation member of the Hastings to Haiti Partnership and Hastings International Human Rights Organization. She served as the co-president of the Hastings Black Law Students Association, a committee member of the Hastings Women of Color Initiative and the UC Hastings Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Gabrielle is currently on the immigration and NextGen committee of the Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Gabrielle joined HNH as a Law Fellow in March 2018.
